The whimsical client wanted a warm farm house with color. After meeting with the client to establish her design preferences we got to work. The overall design of the home really needed to embody simplicity. Using clean lines and playful features, we found the perfect blend to create this one-of-a-kind whimsy farm house.

FARM HOUSE WHIMSY
”I used Miya Interiors for a new house and construction project. Deciding everything for a new house can be overwhelming and they helped me starting at the very beginning to pick everything from the tile, paint, lighting, to the window treatments, and even installed wallpaper in 6 different rooms. They helped furnish the entire house from top to bottom with new custom furniture, including all of the details like sofa pillows, art work, other decor, bar stools, lamps etc. They integrated a few items that I wanted to carry over from my old house (that was a completely different style) seamlessly. Every detail was figured out and came together better than I had hoped. I have recommended them to several friends who have been amazed with their work as well. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Challenge
The true challenge of this project was finding the right mix between the traditional farm house style with the quirkiness of the client’s style. The design needed to truly capture the spirit of the farmhouse style and the spunk of whimsy design. Luckily, working with the client closely our team was able to find a seamless blend of both.

Deliverables
Once the home was ready, the Miya Interiors team went to work putting everything together. We brought in custom elements that brought the traditional farm house style to life. Bringing in everything from original flooring to clean lighting and everything in between, the design started coming together. Then we added a few whimsy accessories to top it all off.
